About this design & full specifications

A watchful bull elk stands beside a cool river, surrounded by golden meadow grasses and autumn aspens. Make this original Yellowstone-inspired scene in square diamonds, from the branching antlers to the warm fur and bright river reflections. Your kit includes the selected pattern printed on canvas, sorted diamonds and tools.

Autumn beside the Madison

Elk are part of Yellowstone’s autumn story. The National Park Service identifies the Madison River as a fall rut viewing area, including meadows between Seven Mile Bridge and Madison Junction. This illustration draws on that setting: evergreen forest and gentle hills behind a warm meadow, with blue water winding through the scene. It is an original artistic interpretation, not a photograph or an exact viewpoint map.

A portrait made for the antlers

The 40×50 cm portrait leaves space for the full antler rack, expressive face and standing silhouette. Golden foliage contrasts with the river’s blue highlights, while the darker neck mane gives the elk depth. Square diamonds form a close mosaic across the full picture. Small color changes in fur, meadow and river reward close attention as you build the scene.

This design currently offers one picture size with square diamonds. Browse the Yellowstone collection for other compositions and available sizes.

The cover and framed view are digital square-diamond previews made from this kit’s pattern. The close-up simulates a local detail; it is not a finished-sample photograph. Two room illustrations show an approximately 40×50 cm portrait picture in a matted frame. Room scale is approximate. Finished colors and sparkle can vary. Frame, furniture and props are not included.
